Re: No Time in the Present

I've thought about it, but I have too many other projects running at the moment.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Re: No Time in the Present

Glad you enjoyed it.  If there were ever to be a continuation of this story, it would be titled "No Time in the Past", and then "No Time in the Future".  I know what the former would be, but no clue about the latter.

Thanks for the feedback,
Eric

Re: No Time in the Present

I do think it would be interesting to learn what Gary's mom's reaction would be if she ever found out about his power and what he'd been up to.

I'm not really interested in seeing him time traveling, or building a harem, or discovering a secret group of people with similar powers (been there, done most of that with CAMP 3dwink  ) but it would be fun to see how his relationship with his mother evolves if she learned his secret.

Any chance of that ever happening?

Re: No Time in the Present

Any chance of her ever learning about his ability?  Maybe, but the continuation of this story, if it's ever written, would be called "No Time in the Past", and it would be about him going... well, into the past, to... Well, I don't really want to say more than that.

But I have no idea if that story will ever be written.  I have so many other things going on right now, I'm not sure when I'd have the time.

Re: No Time in the Present

It is pity that us readers have more time than the writers.  But then we can read in a few minuets what the writers have to labor many hours on.

Glad you enjoyed it.  Thanks for giving feedback on a story that doesn't "get much love" from the readers.

Re: No Time in the Present

What a sick little twist Gary is, I do wish you had continued this if for no other reason than I wanted to know more about the forces that shaped Gary's psychology. I'd love to know more about the mother as well, She seems happy--- downright sedate honesty, but I am suspicious that based on Gary's behavior that this is all a facade and she has subjected her son to some truly heinous psychological manipulation and conditioning.

It moved at a brisk clip and got right into the hook pretty quickly, but still gave some room for the erotic line to bloom over time.

Yes, I would expect you to think that, given our discussions in Discord, because you seem incapable of not imparting nefarious ulterior motives to everyone's actions.

Gary's mother is an actually happy person.  She has done nothing to her son but care for him as best she can as a single parent.  And, frankly, I think those of us who at one point or another had crushes (at least) on our mother would take high offense to the notion that we must have been abused to ever think that way.

That's fair, what can I say, I have trust issues.

Well, I do wish that I had made it more clear that I didn't mean it as an indictment of anyone's actual life, so much as my thoughts about the people in the story. Anyway I still had fun reading the story.

Re: No Time in the Present

Just read,

Really interesting concept. I am of mixed feelings about it ending where it did.

It's both a good ending for the short story.. And also a rather infuriating waist of potential LoL.  All I have to say is Gary... Dream Bigger man!

really nice work..

Re: No Time in the Present

Glad you enjoyed the story.  As to "dreaming bigger", not sure exactly which way you intended that.  If you mean more girls, well, why?  He has a hot-assed mom willing to sleep with him.  If you meant other things, like using it to get money or something...  I dunno, I think Gary would think that was crossing the line.
