Ethan Mitchell is your typical college student, with an atypical home life. Raised by a neighbor family after his parents and sister were killed in a car crash, Ethan's life has had its fair share of struggles.

When his mother catches her husband cheating on her and kicks him out, the family's struggles really ramp up. Ethan returns home to help his mother get back on her feet, and learn to cope with the new directions her life - and maybe her relationship with her son - have taken.

Meanwhile, Ethan tries to get settled back in at home, going to the local campus and making new friends. Some of his friends are not exactly mainstream, not that Ethan cares.

But life isn't done throwing Ethan curve balls. A mistake in the heat of the moment lands Ethan in a very precarious position. Will he come out on top, or will he succumb to his new environment?

This is the central story in the Misfits Multiverse.

Author's Notes

The incest in this story is "faux incest". That is, the two people are not actually blood-related, but their emotional relationship is that of family.

THE REASON FOR THE CAUTION TAG:

This story contains an intersex female character. If you are not familiar with the term, an intersex person is someone born with physical traits of both sexes. In the case of Isabelle (the character in the story), she has breasts and a pussy, but her clit is enlarged to the size and shape of a penis. She does appear in sex scenes. They will be marked, so that you can avoid reading them if you so desire. You have been warned.

sweet chapter.  I saw some of the openings you left us to ponder.  Will the gangsters make an appearance sooner , rather then later.  The gangster chick sounds like she would be a good hookup for Tyler, start with defense training until they get closer... then the gangster family might get a tad racist, the "Don's princess" hanging around a black guy.  could bring a fun twist as to how they work thru those issues.  Anyhow, just a thought this chapter brought to mind.  Damn, I love your writing, always makes my mind try to figure out what's coming up later.

Chapter 9 was very interesting and enjoyable to read. Ethan keeps on finding new ladies (young and not so young). His opportunities seem endless and are fun to read about. I gave up trying to anticipate the plot turns. Your creativity is much better than mine. Thanks again for sharing that creativity with us.

There was a 1-month gap between the previous and current chapter releases.  There has always been a one-month gap between chapter releases.  Until I run out of "stored up" chapters, there will continue to be a one-month pause between chapter releases.

For the record, I'm working on Chapter 21 at the moment, so you're catching up to where I am very quickly already.  You want me to make the wait even worse?  I can post everything up to Chapter 20 now... and then you can wait SIX months between chapter releases...

And I still reckon that Rory is a perfect foil for Ethan - all his other wives and girlfriends are much too likely to just 'roll over' and let him have his way ...

Very interesting way you got our "hero" out of going to jail. The new job is also interesting especially from all the "opportunities" it will provide. It will be interesting to see if Ethan can continue his college classes and other things like the personal trainer job and helping out at the flower shop, etc, etc. Didn't see any of this coming. VERY entertaining/interesting.
I understand the release schedule. Just know, that I really look forward to the first of the month and appreciate all your hard work.

Why Donate?

You may be wondering why you should bother donating to some guy on the internet that you don't know.

I'm not going to lie: I don't really need donations to keep the site running. The site costs me less than $20 a month. Though donation money does go to pay those bills, the primary need is elsewhere.

I am disabled, and live on a fixed income. I also own an old house that is beginning to have "issues". The appliances inside the home also seem to want to break frequently.

On top of that, I live in a place prone to hurricanes, which not only means worrying about the house falling down every summer, I have to worry about being able to handle evacuations and things like that.

The point is, the donations aren't for the site. They're to keep me fed, clothed, and housed, and also allow me a little bit of discretionary spending, instead of having to watch every dime to make sure I don't go over budget that month.

So What Do I Get for Donating?

Not a goddamned thing. Let me be crystal clear: Making a donation does not entitle you to anything at all. Donations are a gift, not a payment for a service or product.

That being said, I do like to say thank you to those who support me. I usually do that by granting special access to the website. What does "special access" mean? Well, not a whole lot, but it means you have extra file formats to download stories in, and it also gives you access to "PRM" content.

What is PRM content? PRM stands for "Pre-Release Material". It is stuff that you are allowed to read before it goes public. How long before it goes public is up to each author that chooses to participate in the PRM system.
