TEOTWAWKI Fiction

For those not in the know, "The end of the world as we know it" fiction.

For some reason, this is a theme that I have been very interested in lately.  After reading all that is available on SOL and the erotic community, I looked at the survivalist community and found this:

Lights Out by David Crawford
http://www.giltweasel.com/stuff/LightsOut-Current.pdf

The survival of a small semi-rural Texas suburb after the US and Europe (I think) are hit by EMP.  In this one what surprised me is, contrary to many other books, how long people go about there business - the police keep working the stores try to supply what they can, buses adapt their routes... rioting and chaos come much later than expected.

I also found Triple Ought by James Wesley Rawles - an earlier, shareware version of his published book Patriots.  All the download sites are down now, so sorry.

In this one the collapse comes gradually through social and economic means.  It's centered on a small group who have planned and trained for this contingency - lots of tips for survivalists.
