PS:  To those who did end up reading it:  If you were one of my reviewers, you'd not only have this chapter, but you'd have also already seen the two you "skipped".
Not to mention the first three chapters of "Agent of Change", the first chapter of "Sweet Talker"...

They may know certain future outcomes, but they don't know the details of how those outcomes were achieved and I am sure there is more that you start in those couple of months.  They will invariably get SOMETHING out of reading the middling chapters just not as much since they miss out on SOME build up.
TL;DR:  Crap happens, don't worry about it.

I see how many of us were here early to check out the new chapter... let's all make an effort to take care of our host this month with some kind of donation for all his hard work!
And yes, I put my money where my mouth is

An excellent chapter. Thanks!

You probably didn't read the "right" chapter 6. Might want to go back and check. There was a "posting error".

Nah, not stupid... Tired maybe. At least I'd blame it on several hours reviewing one, two or maybe three different chapters for two different story lines you've been working on in order to get them to us and the reviewers. Besides, we lowly humans are prone to accidents and mistakes. And those accidents and mistakes can make life interesting... perfection is boring and predictable.

StoryJunkie: I'll remind you that you said this in September, when you have nothing new to read.
Barbarian: No, I'd only proofread way6-6.  What happened was a very simple and very stupid mistake.
I put a copy of files I plan to upload into a special directory on my computer.  This makes it easier, because Firefox always starts out in the last directory you used, and so I never have to go looking for the files I want: they're always in that Uploads directory.
In this case, I had put way6-9 into that uploads directory to send it to the reviewers.  I had done that the day before.  I SHOULD HAVE deleted it from the uploads directory after I had sent it to the reviewers, but I didn't.  This is where the tragic mistake started.  It didn't even take place after I reviewed way6-6.
The error was compounded by me forgetting to put the way6-6 file into the uploads directory, probably because when I looked, I already saw a way6-something file in there, so I figured I'd already copied it over.  (My eyes can make things like this tricky, if I'm not careful... but I KNOW this, so I should always be careful.)  So, now I had the wrong chapter in the uploads directory, and my eyes being as bad as they are, the last chance I had to prevent the error was to take a close look at the file name, which I never did.
"Disasters don't just happen.  They're a chain of critical events.  Unravel the clues, and count down those final Seconds from Disaster." -- Yes, I do kind of feel like this concerning this incident.  (Quote from the opening title of "Seconds from Disaster", an engineering-disasters documentary TV show)

Personally, I still wouldn't sweat it much. Accidents and mistakes happen. I think most here would forgive you, even if you won't forgive yourself.

is my no means a serious error but in the conversation between David and Rick, you called Rick, Nick. Sentence was as follows "Not a restaurant, Nick...."

I'm not worried...you will probably forget by then lol KIDDING, kidding......I tend to read fast, and comprehend what I'm reading, but the last couple of years my memory is getting worse (I'm only 43 dammit) so I tend to go back and read the current chapter a couple of times the first week or so it's out...by the time Sept. comes around I will have forgotten a lot of the chapter and just remember high points, so it will still be a good read for me then

Eric,
Thank you for providing an engaging story for your audience.  What happened this month is a very minor thing to at least some of us.  As an example, I have read the prior years a few times since they have been completed and I remember donating so that I could get the PRM for year two.
Knowing a portion of where an author is taking me does not impact my enjoyment except to enhance it.
Thank you, again, for an extremely good read.

i just got hit by a truck, pulling trucks, driven by Optimus Prime while reading Truckers monthly!
My PRM access for my donation expired.
Now i have to wait half a year to read any new material!!! Right now I am just so so so very...
sad.
Thank you for the wonderful story but i think i am going to put myself into a drug induced coma till Dec 2016.
see you then and please! keep up the awesome work.

*shudders*
Okay, you win.  No donating for you.  I personally think I'd starve before subjecting myself to Ramen, but the point is taken.
Hope things improve for you soon.

I would rather eat palm tree salad than ramen for a week

For some reason I'm sitting here thinking about last months PRM release. Wondering how so many people missed the chapter headings.

Great chapter, Mr. Storm. Quick question, and I don't think it would be a spoiler if you told us, are you planning on going with the M/s relationship angle with Olissa for the future? I ask because of the statements she has made in the past, the bracelet and her love of it, and the wording she used in this chapter.

HOLY HELL!! OK, I'm getting more and more excited as this story goes along, and this is getting intense (as stories do) I like the directed study he has been doing these last few months, it's interesting to read about (good god could you imagine of someone adapted this into a movie??) Now I know you don't like comparisons to Harry Potter, and I'm not saying that it compares to your story Eric....
I'm also intrigued by how things are working out for David this year. I just can't really say much more without spoilers, so I will just say this....Kick Ass chapter Eric, thanks again!

Awesome chapter action filled, one of the great things you are good at as a author that got me hooked when you were writing camp chapters.  Really miss the large battles scenes you had, hopefully we shall see some more in the near future as the way things are progressing.
