Implantation

Implantation

A carnivorous plant finds a young woman sleeping beneath a sunbeam in a meadow. Initially it plans to eat her, but then has other ideas.

This is kind of stream of consciousness, I just started writing and this popped out, so it's probably not for everyone.

Haha thanks JustLucky. I had just started writing without a plan and Saran's story 'Jennifer's Monster' was still fresh in my mind. Also I always thought the movie 'The Thing' could have been much kinkier haha. Anyway thanks for taking the time to not only read it but provide invaluable feedback. Not sure when this particularly part of my brain will be active again, there are a lot or possibilities for this story.

I got the feeling that it ended where it needed to end, I've written a bit in the Kink genre in storyteller style as if I was relating something from personal memory and I found that sometimes the conclusion is what the reader makes of it in their mind.

Im a lazy writer and format, punctuation etc isnt my strong suit so I really love a well polished and formatted piece such as yours. :-)

Re: Implantation

Youth is an awful thing to lose.

This may be the best-written piece of sex fiction I have ever read. I mean for style. And it is completely on the level of an excellent short story of any genre, no allowances made for its being porn. I wonder what other inhuman perversions she could inflict on people, but neither the horror part nor the sex are really the point. Which is too bad, if you think about it. I mean, here we are in this Pub (Auberge), looking for relief, fantasy, alternative lives, to forget, to lie to ourselves, reading, stroking and between the lines being as peppy as our situation on earth allows us. We are cheerful, we are sad, we say "It's not all over yet!" and shake an imaginary fist. And so, still being above the ground, we want the rapture - the phantom rapture, at least. We want to fuck as much as Gorpey, and for all the same reasons. And what do we get in a story like this instead? Style, ideas, notions of humanity, psychology, fine descriptions, measured pacing. We get depth, as if depth leads anywhere but to understanding and understanding can still avoid despair. If the reader is a perfect twenty-something like this Donna (and not a plant zombie), maybe then for him (or better, her) these fine presents are keys that open doors. But what about afterwards? Now I have read the story, appreciated it, amused myself, envied the author for his ability to write such fiction - and what next?
