Mobile App?

Mostly just an idea to throw out for Eric, have you ever thought about creating an app for the site for mobile use? Or having someone do it for you? I was just curious one day and searched it on my android but couldn't find one, and more often than not the convenience of having it on my phone to be able to read whenever/wherever is extremely appealing! Just a random thought!

Re: Mobile App?

I don't know how easy it would be for him but if he could i think it might help the site a little bit.

Re: Mobile App?

1) I'm not an Android programmer, and I wouldn't even CONSIDER creating an app for the iPhone/iPad (not that Apple would accept such an app for their store anyway.)  (For the record, as evil as I consider Microsoft to be, Apple has learned at Microsoft's knee for decades, and has now actually surpassed the master in the realm of evil.  Apple has *become* the evil, faceless corporation they railed about in the '90's.)

2) When version 2 of The Pub comes out, you will have a mobile app for the site.  It's called your browser.

3) Technically, there is a mobile version of the site now, but it is extremely limited in usefulness, and is limited to donators only.
