email help,
Well I think this is the best place to put this,
There is a story on asstr that I really like, but I can only find the first three chapters, one page had the author's email as owned@realpro.uucp.netcom.com but when I sent it an email, I got
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
owned@realpro.uucp.netcom.com
Technical details of permanent failure:
DNS Error: Timeout while contacting DNS servers
on the third try.
most of you have been around the internet longer than me, so I was wondering if you knew anything about the dress, when I googled the server i could not get a page for the host, like; gmail, yahoo, or hotmail. all there was was two email addresses for two stories on asstr.
can anybody help?

Netcom is now owned by Earthlink. It has probably been so long enough that the email is no longer valid.
Just a guess, though.
