I read this and, like everything else of yours I've read, I would like to see more. There were a few grammatical errors in there, but I'm afraid I wasn't marking them as I read, sorry. Fat lot of help that is, I know. On the whole, I am interested and eagerly waiting to see what kind of "thing that goes bump" Mark turns out to be. Keep plugging away!

Hi Black Rose
Sorry about those obvious grammatical errors. I was too impatient to post and didn't get the chapter proofread. I'm happy that you enjoyed it despite my mistakes and I'm working on chapter two now. (up to about 1600 words at the moment)
I will keep plugging away

Thank you, Txthumper. I hope that you will continue to enjoy the story. By the way, I posted corrections to the first three chapters. I'm sure there are lots of errors I missed, but I hope that I fixed some of the worst grammar mistakes.

I also liked this chapter, although I had several distractions that kept me from reading it with anything resembling promptness. Keep up the good work, don't get discouraged, write more... :-)

INSANELY EFFING GOOD. My typical evil-overlord response would be to threaten you with disembowelment or another hideous punishment if you don't GIVE ME THE REST ALL RIGHT NOW; however, I've found that that isn't a good way to get authors to do anything (except kill the main characters to spite you), so I'll settle for giving you a high five and ominous smile.
Keep up the good work!

Thank you, Circum. I'm very pleased that you are enjoying the story so much. I am working on the new chapter as rapidly as I can, which isn't as fast as I'd like, but one must do one's best and hope it is enough.
By the way, which character did you want me to kill to spite you?
