Creamy Beef Pasta

A savory hamburger dish made in a single dish.

Yield: 4 servings
  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 1 c. Instant Rice
  • 1 1/2 c. Penne Pasta
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 can mushroom(s), sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. Minced Garlic
  • 1 can milk
  • 1/2 c. Frozen Corn
  • 1/2 c. Frozen Peas
  1. Pour ground beef, instant rice, hot sauce, bannana peppers and minced garlic into a large electric skillet with high sides
  2. Cook until ground beef is browned and rice is soft
  3. Turn off heat
  4. Add Cream of Mushroom soup
  5. Fill soup can with milk and pour into the pan
  6. Stir Milk, soup and ground beef together
  7. Add Penne, Corn, peas and mushrooms
  8. Stir some more untill all ingredients are well mixed
  9. Turn the heat back on and gently stir untill the soup begins to gently bubble
  10. Cover and stir every few minutes to prevent sticking to the bottom of the pan
  11. Continue cooking until the pasta is fully cooked

Helpful Hints

I will sometimes add a handful of frozen cocktail shrimp along with the ground beef and fry that along with it.

Make sure your skillet is large enough to hold a fairly large amount of liquid ingredients and try to not let the pan get too hot while cooking the pasta as it will stick to the pan.
