Re: My Girls II: The End of Cycles, The Beginning of Knowledge

i am a bit confused since i did read the first installment. You have rearanged things so much that this could be an alternate universe compared to the first on...don't get me wrong i do like this one as well, i just don't think there is much from the first one that needs to be known to read this one...just my two cents as a reader.

Re: My Girls II: The End of Cycles, The Beginning of Knowledge

It can seem that way at first.  There is a lot of connections, they just don't appear at first.  The main value of reading the first one first is that most of the characters don't change.  Cindi changes in looks.  Sammi is a little different from Sandi, and Julie changes.  Megan is an adult instead of a child.  The relationships changes somewhat, as Patrick and Victoria are not married, but are still brother and sister and married.   Most of those are cosmetic changes.   However, you do ahve a valid point... the cycles are over, so things are different.   I assume from your post you've just read the first chapter.  It might be different for you as it goes on.

Re: My Girls II: The End of Cycles, The Beginning of Knowledge

you are correct i have only read the first chapter but will continue to read the rest. My biggest concern was that in the first one Cindi dies and yet here she is in part II...hence my thinking of it as an alternate universe senerio...but like you said i will read more to see where it all goes!!

Re: My Girls II: The End of Cycles, The Beginning of Knowledge

Why chapter 4?  Why do you think this book covers 58 chapters?  I don't know, it's just when the time was right.  Heck, I don't write these books, Julie does!  Ask her!

Hey, been reading the series a while and wanted to give you my praise. Unfortunately I seem to have misplaced it so hopefully my gratitude will suffice ^_^.

Thanks for writing such a great series and I hope to see much more of it and other works you may do in the future, keep up the great work ^_^.

Re: My Girls II: The End of Cycles, The Beginning of Knowledge

i was thinking Patrick from the future, the color and affection for Megan is whats giving me that thought. Though there are differences, Cire's attitude being one, I as a reader can accept that being an inability to let on too many future events.

That and the fact that the baby is now Patrick's when Cire is supposed to be Sammi's future husband lends very heavy weight to it. This is my first time reading the two books, having only seen them here, so I can only speculate.

Great great work and I eagerly await the next chapters and installments. It does sadden me a little to know there are only 12 chapters left in this book, but I shall enjoy it thoroughly through to the end ^_^.

Re: My Girls II: The End of Cycles, The Beginning of Knowledge

I'm enjoying this series so much.  I keep working out a few different ways that the future chapters could happen, then it's good to see what actually happens.  Can't wait for the rest of the chapters in book 2, then book 3!

Re: My Girls II: The End of Cycles, The Beginning of Knowledge

Thanks for the bit about cats, I HAD to pass it around. So far I am seriously enjoying book II, figure out how to dial the sex bit down a bit, without losing the plot, & it would likely sell well on the mainstream market. An excellent read!

Re: My Girls II: The End of Cycles, The Beginning of Knowledge

Another excellent story, hot but too busy to be a stroke story. On to book 3! I would pay to have these in bound book form. I love to read but prefer regular books to cyber stories, they are hard to stick in my pockets & carry around.
