For those few who helped us out during LAoW's time off due to her surgery, we would like to offer our sincere thanks. 

Donations, unfortunately, fell far, far short of our donation goals.  What this means is that finances for us will be extremely tight for the next couple months, until we can recover from her two weeks off work.

Eric has readjusted the donations goal back down to the $300 mark because, quite frankly, raising it to reflect actual need seemed to discourage people from donating.  Whether this was due to feeling suspicious about our actual need, or feeling inadequate to help raise such a large amount, we don't know.  Either way, we still could use whatever money you can spare to send our way.

LAoW's surgery did not go "well", in that it has not solved her problem.  She is continuing to go to the doctor to attempt to clear out her infection and get her sinuses back to normal.  We expect many more medical bills related to this issue.  We will try to keep you informed as best we can about what's going on.
