Public Service Announcement

Hey, folks.  As this didn't occur to me until I saw it, I figured I'd pass this along:

Experts are recommending that when you sign and date things this year, you do NOT use a two-digit year.  Why?  Because the year being "20", could be altered by an unscrupulous individual to read something else, like "2018", or "2022" (or any other 2000-century year).  Not sure how easy it would be for them to really get away with this, but why take the chance?

So just remember, this year, waste the extra second to write "2020".

This message brought to you by the numbers 2 and 0, and the letter schwa.  3dsmile

Wow. I actually didn’t think about that before. I thankfully haven’t signed anything except for my sign in sheet for work.

Re: Public Service Announcement

That's okay.  I paid the guy behind you to add "21" to the end of the sign-in date.  3dtongue
