Don't you love it when you pick up some new parts to upgrade your gaming PC and the processor is DOA and you have limited time to get it replaced prior to launch of the game that made you want to upgrade in the first place?

Sorry, I've never had a brand new processor arrive DOA. I do know people that have purchased pre-owned processors and had them arrive DOA. Was it an OEM part or a boxed part? Boxed parts are slightly less likely to have problems in my experience.

Brand new, in-box processor. It's annoying mainly because I work noon to 11 my time and the store I bought it from doesn't even open until 11am today. My game (WoW) is launching it's expansion tomorrow night at 3am. I am the frustrated.
