Ok, I have written chapter 3 and sent it to my beloved editor. As soon as I get it back, and corrected, I will be posting it.

Re: Jesse's Brand

I am happy to say that Net Wolf is doing the editing on chapter 3, so I should be able to post it soon. I will NOT post it before he edits it.

Re: Jesse's Brand

Ok, first, HI ROSE,  I've missed you all. As of now, I am going to be on more. I have a few problems getting on as much as I would like, but I will be on some now. Now, next Net has finished editing the chapter and I have submitted it. I told Net and I will tell all of my readers (both of you?) I will be posting here first, and then a week later, I will post in a few other spots. I will NOT post at ewp. Thanks for waiting and thanks for the support.

I wasn't being quiet I just hadn't had a chance to read it yet.  Great chapter and I hope to see more of it soon, just like with all the rest of your stories.

Re: Jesse's Brand

Thanks, I am really glad you liked it. I am working on chapter 4 now. As I explained to Net, my time is fairly limited so I won't be able to write as quickly as I would like.

Re: Jesse's Brand

Hey,

I just finished reading the story and would like to let you know that I really enjoyed it.

******Spoiler Below.  Do not read further if you have not read the story yourself******

If you don't mind I would like to share a  minor issues I had with the story.  Jesse told Laughing Willow it would take about a week to get back home but Jesse's uncle Hank showed up with news from there.  I got the feeling that Jesse had only been there a few days however, so I'm not sure how his Uncle would have first got the news they never showed up at their destination, then have time to track down where The People were camped.

Perhaps I missed something in my read however.  Besides that like I said I truly did enjoy the story and look forward to finding out what happens next.

Re: Jesse's Brand

Thanks SM, I guess I was expecting the reader to read between the lines. Jesse's uncle would naturally have hurried to get there, but with more in the party, it would necessitate they not ride as quickly.

I'm so happy to see chapter three of Jesse's brand.  I'm enjoying your story very much.  Jesse is a very likable character, as is Laughing Willow and the supporting cast.  I look forward to chapter four.

Thanks Corvis. I'm glad to hear from you again. I'm actually working on chapter 4 now, so hopefully it won't be too long before I post it (of course AFTER Net edits it ) 3dbig_smile

Re: Jesse's Brand

I am sorry I haven't posted anything as of late. I have been having some horrific problems in real life that has curtailed what I am able to do. I realize a lot of folks want to read more about Jesse and Laughing Willow, and as soon as it is possible, I will write more.  have told Erik what is going on, and I have asked him to change my name on this site temporarily. Again, I am sorry I haven't posted anything lately and I thank you for your patience.

Re: Jesse's Brand

This 'feels' like a story ready for chapter four.  I'll be anxiously looking forward to hearing about it.  Oh, in case it wasn't obvious, I like this story.  Keep up the good work.

Re: Jesse's Brand

I am sorry I been missing for so long. Eric knows of the nasty circumstances I have been facing for the past few years and thankfully has been kind enough to allow my stories to remain here. If I can convince my editor and favorite critic to edit for me again, I will hopefully begin posting again. If I'm allowed to begin posting here again, I will be posting any and all updates as well as any and all stories here first. I will also resume my former name of Night Wolf, to show my respect for my friend and favorite author Net Wolf.
