This sounds very interesting. I hope you continue it too, I'm interested to see what happens next. It's almost got a TKL kind of feel about it, and that's a good thing.
Oh, and what universe is this a part of? I didn't know what other stories might be in the same universe, if that was important or not...

Yes, I'm terrible about remembering some sorts of details, like making a story if it fits with a certain story group. Things That Go Bump and Lethal Mixture are part of the Magus Universe as well. It is my plan to eventually make the connections between them clear.

I'm impressed you managed to get this second chapter out so quick! I suspect you've been holding out on us for a while, you sneaky person you. I'm glad Simon was able to escape his predicament. Oh, and one tiny quibble... I think the name of the group is the Bee Gees (two words and not with a j). And if you wanted to be *really* pedantic, the name of the song is "Stayin' Alive" (Because songs are frequently grammatically incorrect to make us all nuts). :-)
Anyway, good work as always and I'm glad you're getting some writing done!

looks like a good story. Can't wait to see what happens with Simon at school and with the obligatory jock-fights-Simon-but-Simon-kicks-his-ass scene. Also can't wait to see what other powers he has/will get.
