Liked what I read so far!  Had to stop reading it for a while because of work, but when I have the time, I'll definitely get back to it.

Re: Dragonseekers

Um... although I have a vague concept for a sequel to this story, if it ever happens, you won't see it for several years, at least.  I have too many other projects open that need finishing.  Including one with the word CAMP in it that everyone is bitching about.

Re: Dragonseekers

Re: Dragonseekers

Um... not only no, but HELL no.  Artifacts has a very specific storyline that has nothing in common with Dragonseekers.

Re: Dragonseekers

Eh... Not really.  Such a question should have been handled either in email, or in the Website Issues forum.

I'd give you one of those, if I knew what it was.  3dsmile

Re: Dragonseekers

Midori is a bright, green-coloured, honeydew melon-flavored cordial made by Suntory. It is manufactured in Mexico, though it was originally made in Japan until 1987. It began life in 1978 with a launch party held in New York's infamous Studio 54[1].

Midori is usually 20-21% alcohol by volume. The name comes from midori, the Japanese word for "green".

As it is extremely sweet, Midori is rarely consumed by itself. It is generally used in a mixed drink or cocktail; for example, a Midori Illusion or a Japanese slipper. Midori is usually mixed with lemonade, fresh lemon juice, lime juice, pineapple juice or orange juice. Sour flavours are often used to balance its sweetness.

Re: Dragonseekers

Well, let me introduce myself first.  I am an old man with a voracious appetite for a well told tale.  I am also an ex-bartender, gandydancer, roustabout, appleknocker, bounty hunter (and before ya get all hot and sweaty, four-legged animals, not two-legged), cowboy, card dealer and grease monkey, and a shellback and if it puts a buck or two in yer pocket, I probably done it a time or three.
Barkeep, I'll take a virgin Bloody Mary.  Send yer barmaid over to the corner booth where I'll have my nose in one of yer tales.  And, don't let the riffraff bother me, "k?

Re: Dragonseekers

Dragonseekies is the bomb, as my daughter would say, LOL.

I just finished the story after being away from it for quite a while.  I believe that chapter 12 was the latest at that time.  Hat's off to you, my friend.  Is that the end of the tale or will there be more?

I confess to waiting with baited breath.  (does anyone know what that really means?)

Also, thanks to advancewar for the education on the origin of my favorite cordial.  It figures that I would enjoy it in a way that's considered odd.  I just like the way it tastes chilled.  A good sippin' drink.  3dcool

Re: Dragonseekers

Glad you enjoyed the story.  I have some vague notions for a sequel to Dragonseekers, but it is years away, at least.

Now, for the educational part of our program:

It is not "baited breath".  It is "bated breath".

bate - v.  1: to reduce the force or intensity of : restrain <with bated breath>
(From the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary)

'bate' is, as you might imagine, simply a reduced form of "abate".

We now return you to your regularly scheduled smut.  3dsmile
