I was almost ready to start re-reading, but I remembered that, as of the temple visits, she had her to appear in the story.

After further thought - not thinking about it, and don't try to figure out how my mind works - I figured that he was referring to Zyla since Joe is no longer in the picture.

I had assumed he was talking about Zyla, as people usually tend to get first letters of names correct, and she's the only Z character in the series.

But she's still not named Zuma.

Yes Zyla... I do love autocorrect. It tried to change it on this post too!!! -_-

Sometimes technology isn't quite as helpful as you hope.

Historically, Eric has released a chapter from prm status when he posts a new chapter in the series.  Since Eric has been going through a bit of a dry spell in his writing, we all have to wait.  sad

Barbarian is correct.  I don't consider it fair to those who've received special access to release any additional chapters until there's a new chapter for them to read.

If you are referring to the next chapter of WAY7, it will be made public when the next chapter of WAY8 is released to PRM.  This is my policy for this series.

if you're asking when the next chapter of WAY8 will be released, the answer is: When I finish it.

I almost want to count up the instances of the word "a" and give it here as a spoiler. Almost.

You keep getting asked 'when is the next chapter' in various ways.
So telling thoes whom are not part of prm that there are 360 or so words that consist of only the letter "a" is a spoiler for the next chapter, just a useless one.

Um... no, it's not.  And here's why:  By definition, a "spoiler" must "spoil" the story (or at least the suspense or anticipation) for someone else.  I'm pretty sure that this particular piece of trivia will not affect anyone's enjoyment of the story whatsoever.

Perhaps, unless someones only enjoyment of any given peice of written work comes from counting the instances of specific words in a document and making histrograms... but your likely correct in that I didn't spoil anything.

Great chapter. There were some things that had me slightly confused. How was Dailey's ghost prevention wall able to block David when he wasn't in ghost form. If the wall blocks solid and ghosted things, why did it allow his staff to pass through. Secondly, how was David able to conjure himself when a conjuring prevention field was in place? Was Daily forced to end the field because of starting the ritual or was David able to thwart the field somehow?

It been a little bit since I read that chapter but for the anti conjuring field I believe that was only in place around Daily’s work table

thehilz is correct concerning the conjuring prevention field.  David did not conjure into the field, which had a limited range.

As to the ghost prevention wall:  David is a demighost.  He is always a demighost, no matter what form he takes.  As such, a ghost prevention device of any kind (wall or field) will always work on him.

Year 7 is finished, although you may need prm status on your account before you can read the last few chapters.  Year 8 has been started and the first 2 chapters are available to those that have paid for prm status.  We are all patiently waiting for more.

You liar.  You're all about as patient as a Florida driver stuck in afternoon rush hour traffic.
:-P

The rest of what he said, however, is true.  You will get to read more of year 7 when the PRM folks can read more of year 8.  Anything else is, in my opinion, unfair.

PS:  Two more things:

1. The language spoken on this forum is ENGLISH, not that pseudo-language gibberish you posted.  We like complete words and sentences around here, and

2. Asking this question of any author, especially phrased the way you did, is rude.  Do you honestly think we store up stuff, just waiting for someone to ask when we're going to post it before we give it to you?  We post things when they're ready to be posted.  AND before you suggest that you just wanted to check on where things stood, I have a "Writing Status" thread for exactly that purpose.

Well, I am patiently waiting... admittedly by rereading Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series.

You accidentally put "The Woodward Academy, Year 1, Calendar of Events" in this update instead of Year 7...

I love the story so far!  For that matter, the whole series is awesome.

Thanks

Are you sure it was accidental?

Chrome has a major flaw in it whereby the calendar cannot be saved properly from my calendar-creation page.  I caught it when I did the WAY8 calendar, but missed it with the WAY7 one.

It has now been updated. (I had to use IE to save it.  Ick.)
